, Ian Barton, was admitted as a Solicitor in England & Wales in 1993 and subsequently as an Attorney at Law in New York in 2005. In the course of his professional life he has worked in Jersey and the Caribbean in the offshore finance industry and he lived in Germany for several years where he worked at the Deutsche Bank advising upon trust matters. He speaks German. Outside of work he is a member and director of the East India Club in St James’ Square, London SW1.
Ian was the in house solicitor for private client legal services at a trust corporation in the City of London for many years before establishing Barton & Co as a dedicated consultancy for the provision of bespoke Wills and Lasting Powers of Attorney. With more than twenty years experience of trusts and estates he is uniquely well placed to write Lasting Powers of Attorney and Wills tailor made to suit the needs of the individual client.
